PADI TEC 50 Program
What you'll learn during your PADI TEC50 diver course:
- Expand your knowledge of underwater physiology and emergency procedures to be followed for different possible cases.
- How to calculate the CNS clock and OTU to minimize the risk of oxygen toxicity.
- Dive to a maximum depth of 50 meters with multiple stop decompression
- Use two cylinders with decompression gas containing maximum 100% oxygen for accelerated decompression or to make the necessary decompression more conservative
- Use Deco software to plan dives
- How to calculate the air supplies needed for the dive considering the right reserves
The PADI TEC50 Diver course is divided into three main parts:
- Knowledge development (individual and classroom study).
- Three practical applications in the classroom.
- Four open water dives to practice technical diving skills.
PADI TEC50 Prerequisits
To enroll for the PADI TEC50 diver course you need to be at least 18 years old and both a Rescue Diver and a TEC45 diver. You need to have at least 100 logged dives‚ from which 20 with nitrox to a depth deeper than 18 metres and 15 dives deeper than 30 metres.
Credit/Certification PADI TEC 50
By completing your course‚ you will receive your PADI TEC 50 Diver certification‚ which will allow you to dive up to 50m with multiple-stage decompression and using two decompression gases containing up to 100% oxygen for accelerated decompression.
