The PADI Adventure Diver course helps you get more out of diving by introducing you to new types of diving adventures while improving your diving skills. It’s a great opportunity to work with your PADI Instructor to improve your diving skills and become a safer diver.
PADI Adventure Diver Program
What you will learn during your PADI Adventure Diver course depends on what you prefer to learn. You can choose your three adventure dives yourself. For example‚ do you want better buoyancy skills? Try the Peak Perfomance Buoyancy adventure dive. The PADI Adventure Diver course consists of mainly two parts:
- Knowledge development of adventure diving to understand the basic principles of this type of diving;
- Three adventure dives in open water‚ to revise your skills and explore.
Choose your three adventure dives from the following:
- AWARE Dive Against Debris;
- Boat Diver;
- Deep Diver;
- Drift Diver;
- Dry Suit Diver;
- Fish Identification;
- Night Diver;
- Peak Performance Buoyancy;
- Search and Recovery;
- Underwater Navigator;
- Wreck Diver.
PADI Adventure Diver Equipment
Evasioni Blu Diving Resort in Ustica and Isola delle Femmine (Palermo‚ Sicily) will provide all the equipment you needed for your specialty dives (i.e. compass for navigation‚ lift bag for search and recovery). Other diving equipment can be rented at our dive center.
PADI Adventure Diver Prerequisites
- Be a PADI Open Water Diver or have an equivalent certification issued by another training organization;
- Being at least 15 years old.
Credit/Certification PADI Adventure Diver
If you successfully complete your PADI Adventure Diver course‚ you will receive your PADI Adventure Diver certificate. Each Adventure Dive can be credited as the first dive of the relative specialty course.
