Pianoro del Canoncino

This dive start of at a 4-5m depth seabed characterized by posidonia and rock in zone B of the Marine Protected Area on the West side of the islet of Isola delle Femmine. Swimming out towards the west the seabed slopes gently down to reach a depth of 16-18m where the remains of an ancient tuna anchor are still present. During the dive it is possible to spot banks of salps and hidden among the rocks octopus‚ moray eels‚ sea hares and starfish might be encountered.
